Hetzner acts as a processor on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to art. 28 GDPR; that agreement restricts processing to member states of the European Union or the European Economic Area, so there is no transfer of your data to a third country. in order to route your request and to defend against attacks, Hetzner’s network processes connection data including your IP address; this is subject to that agreement and to Hetzner’s privacy policy. legal basis is art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is delivering this site and keeping it available and secure.
